Essential Functions- Consistent and punctual attendance
- Assist special education teacher in helping students with behavioral and/or emotional disabilities
- Listens to students read, and reads to students
- Helps students with make-up work
- Assists in individual or group activities, games, flash cards, computers, etc.
- Assists students in interpreting and following directions of teacher
- Reinforce social skills the teacher has taught
- Alerts teacher to needs of students
- Assists teacher in checking progress of individuals
- Supervises lunchroom, playground, halls, classrooms and other assigned activities
- Assists with the physical and health needs of the children
- Inventories books, materials and equipment
- Assists when emergencies arise
- Performs other delegated responsibilities assigned by teacher or administrator
Part-Time; $18.15 Per Hour
