Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist for the 2026/2027 academic year. This full-time position offers a chance to provide meaningful support to students, families, and staff across an educational district near Norfolk, NE. As a vital member of a collaborative team, you will contribute to both individual student progress and broader special education initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psycho educational evaluations and assessments for students.
  • Determine eligibility for special education services and generate data‑driven recommendations.
  • Participate actively as a member of the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT).
  • Facilitate IEP development through thorough interpretation of assessment data.
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of behavioral and learning intervention programs.
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, parents, and support staff regarding student needs and interventions.
  • Offer insight and guidance on learning styles, academic challenges, and behavioral concerns.
  • Engage with external agencies, medical providers, and parent organizations as needed.
  • Help create and enact crisis intervention programs district-wide.
  • Provide individualized support, ongoing training, and consultation to students, families, and staff.
  • Uphold compliance with all state and federal special education regulations.
  • Participate in professional development activities and maintain continuous professional growth.
  • Attend relevant meetings and undertake additional assignments as designated by district leadership.
Required Qualifications
  • Master’s, Educational Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Valid Nebraska Special Services Certificate or eligibility to obtain.
  • Nebraska School Psychology Endorsement or ability to obtain via reciprocity.
  • Deep understanding of IDEA, special education eligibility requirements, and IEP processes.
  • Demonstrated experience with psycho educational evaluations and professional report writing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and diverse stakeholders.
