JEO's Survey Department is excited to invite a talented CADD Technician to join us. You'll play a crucial role in drafting tasks for a variety of projects, helping to bring our innovative designs to life.
Responsibilities and Duties- Draft precise survey plats and easements to aid project clarity.
- Process and interpret topographic surveys for accurate project assessments.
- Act as a professional representative of JEO and build strong client relationships.
- Communicate effectively with the project team through both written and oral methods.
- Read and interpret comprehensive plans, profiles, cross sections, and graphs with precision.
- Determine earthwork cuts and fills volumes based on existing and proposed topography.
- Create detailed existing and proposed surfaces and contours using points, along with road, storm, and sanitary sewer profiles and sections.
- Support field assignments as necessary to ensure project completion.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, and operational instructions.
- Proficient in writing routine reports and correspondence clearly.
- Effective oral communication skills suitable for interacting with all employees.
- Competency in calculating figures and amounts including areas and volumes.
- Understanding of basic algebra and geometry concepts.
- Experience using CADD software along with Microsoft Office programs.
- Associates Degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or equivalent training.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
