Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Process retirement plan transactions accurately, including contributions, distributions, loans, and transfers, while meeting daily deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records of plan transactions, payroll schedules, bank accounts, and participant data.
• Reconcile contributions, distributions, cash, and holdings.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and collaborate with other teams to ensure client and employee needs are satisfied.
• Address and resolve issues related to plan operations, participant inquiries, and regulatory compliance.
• Perform quality control reviews and assist with research and resolution of transaction issues.
• Support documentation of systems and procedures and propose process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.

• Completion of ASPPA Retirement Plan Fundamentals (RPF) certificate (may be obtained within first year of employment).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently in a fast‑paced environment.
