Job Summary

The Loan Administrative Assistant (Loan Admin) is responsible to understand, establish and maintain accuracy in the loan system and files. Prioritizes and monitors daily loan tasks to effectively meet necessary timelines. Assists customers and bank personnel in a professional manner with loan related transactions.

Core Job Responsibilities

Provides support for customers with loan related questions and transactions; researches and provides resolutions to issues; processes loan transactions and funding in a timely manner.

Supports loan officers in submitting loan request; compiles information needed in new loan files and continually updates customer files for accuracy.

Reviews daily loan reports for accuracy.

Accurately performs new loan and collateral clean up and review.

Contacts third party venders for supporting loan documentation, such as title searches/commitments, credit reports, appraisals, floods, etc.. Files security documents to acquire correct initial, continuing and releases for lien filings.

Performs filing in loan files physically and electronically by effectively scanning and indexing loan documentation.

Manages and effectively tracks and communicates pending/outstanding loan file documents.

Engages and actively performs other duties assigned by management.

Education/Experience

High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
Prior loan and customer service experience is preferred

Work Environment

Must have the ability to sit and/stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
Able to travel to other locations as needed.
