Vulcraft Nebraska is seeking a Human Resources Intern. As a Human Resources Intern, you will acquire hands‑on learning experiences along with HR mentorship through the support of our current HR team. Basic functions of this job will include:

• Assist with organization of our annual summer picnic
• Manage and maintain social media content
• Manage onboarding process for new teammates
• Coordinate and maintain all FMLA and sick leave requests
• Schedule and coordinate virtual training sessions for teammates
• Assist with other various HR projects as assigned

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

• Must be working towards a degree in human resources or related field
• No relatives employed at Vulcraft Nebraska or Nucor Detailing Center (Nucor Corporation Policy No 21 B
  3)

• Preference given to students with Junior or Senior standing for the Fall 2026 academic year
