This is a unique opportunity for an experienced HR leader who enjoys operating at both the strategic and tactical levels. Our client, a growing healthcare organization is seeking a Director of Human Resources to serve as a key member of the leadership team, helping guide workforce strategy, strengthen organisational culture, and build scalable HR practices that support long-term success.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will have significant visibility across the organisation and will partner closely with senior leaders to drive employee engagement, leadership development, talent acquisition, compliance, and organisational effectiveness. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable in the boardroom and in the day-to-day realities of HR operations when needed.
Relocation support will be offered for the right candidate.
What You'll Do- Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute workforce and talent strategies
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on employee relations, performance management, organisational development, and change management
- Lead initiatives focused on employee engagement, retention, leadership effectiveness, and culture
- Oversee recruiting strategy, hiring processes, onboarding, and workforce planning efforts
- Provide guidance on compensation, benefits, and total rewards programmes
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, healthcare regulations, and HR best practices
- Develop and improve HR systems, policies, processes, and manager resources
- Lead, coach, and support a small HR team while helping build future HR infrastructure
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, employment law, compliance, and workplace investigations
- Experience partnering with executive leadership and influencing organisational strategy
- Background in benefits, compensation, performance management, and talent development
- HRIS experience required; ADP experience preferred
- Healthcare, hospital, or other highly regulated industry experience strongly preferred
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus
- Direct partnership with the CEO and executive leadership team
