Oversees the City Waste Transfer Station and NNSWC landfill operations.
Salary: $6,348 $ 8,725/month
Primary Duties:
Supervise solid waste operations and staff; develop policies and goals; manage budgets, bids, contracts, and inventory; oversee waste inspection, hazardous waste, compost/brush operations; ensure EPA/NDEE compliance and permits; respond to public inquiries/emergencies (24/7); maintain facilities and equipment.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree;
Class A CDL; SWANA Landfill Operations & HHW/CESQG Certifications; former DOT Stormwater Inspector; landfill and regulatory experience required.
