Position: Director of Residence Life and Student Conduct
The Director of Residence Life and Student Conduct provides strategic leadership for the institution's residential community and student conduct process, ensuring a safe and engaging living environment that supports student learning, development, and success. This live-on position oversees all aspects of residence life operations, including housing assignments and contracts, occupancy management, residential software systems, and coordination of residence hall facilities and maintenance.

The Director ensures operational efficiency and student satisfaction through effective management of check-in and check-out processes, room inventories, occupancy reporting, and collaboration with facilities and campus security to maintain safe and well-maintained living environments. Through intentional programming and community engagement initiatives, the position fosters academic success, personal growth, leadership development, and social responsibility within the residential community.

In addition, the Director oversees the administration of the student conduct process using restorative and educational approaches that promote accountability and learning. The position investigates policy violations, ensures fair and consistent application of institutional policies, and maintains compliance with federal regulations including Title IX and the Clery Act.

The Director supervises professional and student staff, providing leadership in recruitment, training, and evaluation to ensure effective service delivery and student support. The position also manages the residence life budget, oversees programming resources and facility improvements, and utilizes assessment and operational data to inform decision-making and enhance the residential student experience.
