The Concrete Manufacturer & Installer performs a variety of tasks in a precast concrete manufacturing environment and on-site at local cemeteries.
Starting wage $17 to $20 per hour based on experience. Pay increase when you are able to deliver burial vaults independently. Performance Review and pay increase at six months of employment.Watch this video to see what we do at Wilbert Vault
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assists in production of concrete burial vaults
- Preparation of the vault for delivery
- Delivers completed vaults to cemetery
- Sets vaults in cemetery using hydraulic equipment
- Sets up tent, chairs, and prepares the general area for burial
- Wears clean company uniform when required
- Maintains company equipment to be clean and operable
- Reports any issues to supervisor or higher-level employee
- Performs other related duties as assigned

- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions
- Ability to work in a variety of roles
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to work with a team or independently
- Have pride in quality of service and product
- Have attention to detail
- Shows active concern for safety, clean work area, and fellow employees
- Valid driver’s license required; must have insurable driving record
- Certified DOT Driving Record will be required before a job offer can be extended
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Job training for this position is provided
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing and walking
- Occasional squatting, bending, and overhead work
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 80 pounds occasionally
- Manual dexterity as needed to operate a variety of machinery and equipment
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions
- Must be able to tolerate exposure to typical noises and smells associated with a manufacturing plant
