Summer Youth Worker; Driving

Full-time and part-time positions available Monday-Friday 8:00 A.M.

- 4:00 P.M., Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour.

Position dates: 05/25/26-07/31/26, opportunity for year-round work also existing.

Plans, implements, supervises youth members and evaluates activities provided within a specific program area. Builds and maintains a professional relationship with all youth and their families to help advance the mission of The Salvation Army.

Volunteers

High school diploma or GED required. Previous work in related field with children and youth preferred.

• Ability to be flexible and able to work on multiple projects or tasks simultaneously.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft software to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and as well as the ability to access payroll, timekeeping and personal data via a web-based system.
• Administrative skills to include utilization of standard office equipment, data entry, 10-key.
• Good attention to details and filing.
• Good communication skills both written and spoken, and ability to maintain effective working relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters.
