Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Rural Community Hospital. Located in a small town, this facility provides Level 3 trauma care, stroke, and STEMI certification. The ER handles approximately 50-55 patients daily, with a team experienced in diverse acute care emergencies, including trauma, cardiac events, and pediatric cases.
Job Details- Position: ER Nurse at a rural community hospital with a Level 3 trauma designation, stroke, and STEMI certification.
- Schedule:
Rotating day and night shifts, including evenings and nights. Typical shifts are 12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. - Required Qualifications:
BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC, CPI certifications; minimum of 1 year ER experience; ability to interpret telemedicines independently; team-oriented communication skills; experience in rural or community hospital preferred. - Responsibilities include triage, emergency patient care, interpreting telemonitoring systems, and managing critical care drips such as nitro, levo, insulin, and cardizem.
- Additional Information:
Applicants should have experience working with diverse patient populations, including pediatrics, and be comfortable with a fast-paced emergency environment. Epic training and initial orientation are provided.
