As a Chick‑fil‑A Shift Lead you will:
- Serve as a member of the management team by providing leadership, direction and supervision to Team Members during their shift and ensuring a high‑quality experience for guests.
- Provide day‑to‑day operational leadership:
- Delegate shift duty assignments to staff/students.
- Oversee front end and back‑of‑restaurant operations.
- Ensure products and ingredients are stocked and available based on forecasting.
- Train new team members.
- Ensure presentation, quality, and food standards are met.
- Provide excellent customer service to all guests through front end and back‑end operations which may include:
- Greeting all guests in a friendly manner and addressing guest concerns.
- Accurately entering orders into the POS system and cashier duties.
- Food preparation and monitoring food quality and safety.
- Front end and kitchen stocking.
- Ingredient preparation.
- Inventory, dish machine operation, cleaning duties, opening, and closing procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED plus three years of food preparation experience and mastery of all kitchen and dining tasks; equivalent experience/education considered.
- Ability to read, write, weigh, and measure.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to train and lead others.
- Food Handler’s permit or ability to obtain by passing the Safety and Sanitation test required.
- Supervisory experience.
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required. Subject to DOT approved pre‑employment & random testing for alcohol and controlled substances.
- Criminal history background check required.
