Role Overview
The Scholar Net team at Nelnet looks for a customer‑focused, results‑driven individual to represent Scholar Net products in the higher‑education marketplace, help existing customers optimize their private loan processes, and engage new customers. The ideal candidate is an effective problem solver and relationship builder who can work independently and collaboratively to design and execute marketing and sales plans for a defined territory.
Job Responsibilities- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5–10 years of experience in financial aid or private loans. Sales and marketing background preferred.
- High level of verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Ability to handle a high volume of projects.
- People leadership and decision‑making skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a group.
Salary range $85,000 – $95,000 annually, plus sales incentives based on experience.
