Position Summary:
This position will install, maintain and repair electrical systems, apparatus and electrical/electronic components in accordance with the National Electrical Code and all other applicable standards and specifications.
- Measure, cut, bend and install conduit, using appropriate equipment
- Pull electrical wire and cable in conduit using manual and power equipment
- Move/handle various equipment and spools of wire
- Install electrical raceways and wire, conduit, lighting fixtures, controls, machinery and electrical distribution equipment
- Proper care for material, tools and equipment

- All other duties as assigned and required
- State of Nebraska Journeyman Electrical License
- OSHA 10 Card
- Must be able to read blueprints to determine how to best install the components and wiring
- Functional understanding of Low Voltage systems
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and hard working
- Effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all organizational levels
- Completion of a state approved apprenticeship with field experience and classroom requirements
- Must be able to pass an essential duties test, drug screening, background check and must maintain a valid driver’s license
