An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Electrical and Mechanical Fitter to join an experienced team based in King’s Lynn. This role is ideal for candidates with a mechanical background, as previous experience in the exact field is not essential. You will play a key part in maintaining, repairing, and servicing industrial equipment while ensuring the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities of this role as an Electrical and Mechanical Fitter you will be:
 
* Attend customer sites and carry out site assessments as required.
 
* Strip, overhaul, and repair industrial gearboxes, pumps, electric motors, and other mechanical equipment.
 
* Respond to emergency call-outs as part of an on-call rota.
 
* Ensure all work meets quality standards through final inspection and pass-off processes.
 
* Follow set procedures, guidelines, and company standards.
 
* Work independently and to tight deadlines, taking initiative where necessary.
 
* Maintain good housekeeping and a safe working environment.
 
* Be flexible and willing to work overtime when required.
 
* Adhere to Quality, Health and Safety, and Environmental standards.
Requirements of an Electrical and Mechanical Fitter you will:
 
* Experience as a mechanical fitter; knowledge of industrial gearboxes, pumps, or electric motor assembly and refurbishment is advantageous but not essential.
 
* Ability to use precision workshop measuring equipment such as micrometres and verniers.
 
* Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues on-site and in the workshop.
 
* Full UK driving licence.
 
* High level of self-motivation, reliability, and flexibility
