Accountant, Accounts Receivable/ Collections, Financial Reporting

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate accounting practices within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fixed asset management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare and record journal entries to maintain updated financial records.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial data aligns with statements.
- Manage fixed asset accounting, including tracking and reporting.
- Review and maintain the general ledger to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist with financial reporting and analysis to support business decision-making.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve accounting processes.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger management and journal entries.
- Proficiency in performing bank reconciliations.
- Familiarity with fixed asset accounting and reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
