Job Description
To monitor and ensure accuracy of banking activity and other general ledger reconciliations.
- Considerable knowledge of financial accounting/general ledger reconciliation.
- Considerable knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and their application to fund accounting.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Ability to analyze, research and compile data and develop a variety of fiscal reports.
- Considerable knowledge of automated financial systems.
- Demonstrated ability to use a variety of PC based word processing and spreadsheet software such as MS Excel, MS Word and MS Access.
Special licenses, registration or certification None.
Education or training None.
Level and type of experience Some general accounting experience.
Additional Considerations (supplemental knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience, licensure, certification) Some Banner experience, Considerable knowledge in accounting/finance or equivalent combination of education and experience.
