Job duties include conducting supervisory duties to provide technical and administrative oversight of first level supervision of seven general schedule employees and a team of up to twelve contractors. Support the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command's senior accounting expert on all matters related to process development that impact fiduciary reporting and fiscal accountability. Analyze fiduciary reports and report progress and problems to Financial Management Officers and Comptroller on a routine basis.
Serve as a senior accountant responsible for understanding the accounting programs characterized by a number of operating accounting systems and related programs. Provide expert authoritative advice and resolves major problems that arise in meeting internal and external customer's expectations.
