The Accounts Receivable Specialist is accountable for daily operational tasks associated with revenue cycle accounts receivable, follow-up with patients and payers, and resolving upfront edits and denials. Responsibilities include processing monthly write-offs, making charge corrections, and reconciling claim files for the assigned area of responsibility.

• Follow up on patient and payer requests (primary, secondary, and tertiary) and manage related timelines and resolutions.
• Prepare appeals and resolve upfront edits and denials.
• Monitor and process monthly write-offs and charge corrections.
• Reconcile claim files for the assigned area of responsibility.

• 3+ years of insurance claims or medical billing experience required.
• Diploma/Certification in medical Insurance Billing and Coding, in lieu of years of experience.
• Epic experience strongly preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
