The New York Times is hiring for a General Ledger Accountant to provide accounting support, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close. You will collaborate with business managers and accounting staff and report to the Manager, Financial Accounting.
Responsibilities include reviewing GL accounts, ensuring accuracy of balances, coordinating inventory reporting, and improving processes while maintaining internal controls. Some travel for inventory counts is expected.
