Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Summary : SEACORP is hiring a NAVCERT Administrator to provide comprehensive operational and administrative support to the NAVCERT Manager and technical teams. This role is essential for coordinating the planning, execution, and documentation phases of Navigation Certification tasks for U.S. Navy surface and submarine platforms. The Administrator serves as a central point of coordination to ensure certification teams have the necessary resources and that all technical documentation meets strict Navy standards.

Responsibilities Include:
Project Planning & Execution Support:
- Schedule Maintenance:
Assist the NAVCERT Manager in developing and maintaining integrated master schedules for complex dockside and at-sea testing events. - Team Mobilization:
Coordinate the administrative requirements for assembling multi-disciplinary certification teams, including managing site access and travel logistics for technicians and engineers. - Resource Coordination:
Track the allocation of specialized test equipment and technical resources to ensure they are staged and available for concurrent certification events.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Technical Records:
Maintain comprehensive test logs and technical documentation generated during system installation and troubleshooting. - Report Production:
Assist in the production, formatting, and quality review of NAVCERT technical reports and certification packages prior to stakeholder submission. - Data Integrity:
Monitor and interpret system data logs to ensure all required testing phases are recorded and verified for 100% completion. - Compliance Tracking:
Ensure all administrative records are maintained in strict accordance with NAVCERT instructions, such as OPNAVINST 9420.2. - Scope Monitoring:
Assist in tracking labor hours and project costs to help the Manager identify potential budget overruns or schedule slips early. - Stakeholder Liaison:
Act as a secondary point of contact for programmatic inquiries, assisting with regular status reports and updates for Navy stakeholders and TYCOM.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s level degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related technical discipline is preferred. Equivalent professional experience in a maritime technical environment may be considered.
Experience : 3 years of professional experience in administrative or operational support, ideally supporting U.S. Navy navigation systems or certification processes.
As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship.
