Job Description:
Performs administrative support activities providing internal departmental support as well as customer service to campus and vendor community. Interprets and applies University procurement policies, procedures and guidelines while providing prompt, exceptional customer service and performing mission critical administrative support for the department.
Minimum Qualifications:
Working knowledge of basic accounting principles.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Demonstrated knowledge of current business practices and office procedures.
Demonstrated ability to follow directions.
Demonstrated ability to function effectively in areas of responsibility with little or no direct supervision and in a multi-task fast paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to handle multi-line telephone system and transfer calls confidently and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service support and assistance .
