Administrative Support (Clerical & Sales)
This position will perform a variety of high level and direct administrative support for the Dean of the Graduate School, as well as serving as backup administrative support for the Graduate School to include office management and administration, special projects and events support, and other Graduate School initiatives.
Qualifications- Considerable knowledge of effective customer service and problem resolution techniques.
- Exceptional computer and technical skills, including Banner, Insight, Microsoft Office Professional Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher, Outlook).
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Effective time management and organizational skills with the ability to maintain high quality work against tight deadlines and produce accurate, detail-focused, professional output.
- Demonstrated skill in document development and proofreading.
- Demonstrated ability in high‑stakes meeting preparation (briefing memos, agendas, meeting materials).
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential communications and stakeholder diplomacy.
- Demonstrated ability to manage events with extensive attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects or tasks simultaneously.
