Payroll Specialist
This contract role involves helping manage a backlog of Time Adjustment Forms (TAFs). You will handle approximately 200 TAFs each payroll period, with an existing backlog of 450. The role requires accessing timecards in the payroll system, identifying issues, and processing the TAFs. Deadlines are critical, with TAFs submitted on Friday and due by the following Tuesday.
Responsibilities- Manage and process a backlog of Time Adjustment Forms (TAFs).
- Access and review timecards in the payroll system to identify and correct issues.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of TAFs by strict deadlines.
- Utilize Sharepoint, Adobe, and Zen Desk to access TAFs.
- Communicate effectively with the team using Teams.
- Data entry experience with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll data.
- Outgoing personality to work well with the payroll team.
- Experience with payroll systems and time management.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat.
- Familiarity with Sharepoint and Teams.
- Understanding of repetitive, monotonous work in payroll processing.
The role is fully onsite, Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
