Job Summary

The School Data Specialist II provides administrative and data management support for school operations by maintaining student records, processing attendance, scheduling, enrollment, transcripts, and other student information. The role ensures accurate data reporting, maintains confidentiality, supports school administration, and assists with daily office operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Register students, process withdrawals, and manage student enrollment records.
  • Maintain student records, transcripts, schedules, grades, and attendance information.
  • Process student accounting and attendance data accurately.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain computerized student records and reports.
  • Manage student forms, cumulative files, identification badges, and email accounts.
  • Perform clerical and administrative duties to support school administration and staff.
  • File and maintain documents according to established procedures.
  • Operate Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and student information systems.
  • Handle student data reporting while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with applicable laws.
  • Communicate effectively with students, families, staff, and the public.
  • Serve as backup support for other office staff as needed.
  • Maintain organized records and meet deadlines while handling multiple priorities.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of office clerical experience, preferably in a school environment.
  • Knowledge of office procedures, student record management, and administrative support.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and computerized record systems.
  • Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with student data regulations.
  • Ability to establish positive working relationships with students, families, staff, and the public.
