Job Title: Receptionist
Location: Norfolk, VA 23510 (Onsite 5 days a week)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST; one hour lunch
Duration: 6 months
First Interview: virtual/Teams with the hiring manager
Second Interview: onsite with Service Leader
Interviews targeted for the week of 9/28

- 1. Proficiency in Office 365 tools:
Teams, Word, Excel (basic), Power Point - 2. 2 years of receptionist experience, general public in person as well as email/ phone skills.
- At least 2 years of receptionist experience
- Proficiency in Office 365 tools:
Teams, Word, Excel (basic), Power Point - Professional demeanor and proactive communication via Teams and in person
Business Casual Required. Acceptable:
Collared shirts, slacks, blouses, dresses, skirts (mid-length or longer), closed-toe shoes. Not Acceptable:
Street clothes, casual wear
Summary:
The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for clients, agents, and field management. This role requires a polished, professional individual who can manage front desk operations, provide exceptional customer service, and support general office functions.
Primary Responsibilities:- Greet and assist clients, agents, and visitors in person and via phone/email
- Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries appropriately
- Book conference rooms and coordinate meeting logistics
- Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks to support the General Office
- Troubleshoot office issues (e.g., Wi-Fi, tech support coordination)
- Support event logistics: room setup, printing, catering, guest access
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
- At least 2 years of receptionist experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable working independently and proactively
- Fingerprinting required prior to start
On-the-job training provided, including coaching and feedback. Client systems will be taught.
Deal Breakers:No remote work option - this is strictly onsite
Team & CultureThis role will provide front desk assistance to up to 30 agents, who are considered internal “clients.” The environment is fast-paced and professional, requiring strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently while staying connected with leadership via Microsoft Teams.
