Senior Analyst – U.S. Navy Customer
This position is contingent upon a contract award to Precise Systems, Inc.
Responsibilities- Experience developing and executing successful strategic plans and solutions across multiple complex tasks and organizations.
- Define problems, analyze and develop strategies to achieve assigned objectives, manage preparation of analyses, evaluations, and recommendations for implementation, and provide complex statistical modeling and analysis.
- Evaluate existing business goals, team functionality, and cross-discipline cooperation, developing recommendations to improve internal performance, shorten throughput time, and minimize costs while increasing overall quality of work, product, or service output.
- Implement improved systems, procedures, and organizational changes.
- Employ analysis techniques such as work breakdown structures, activity‑based costing, process and productivity improvement measurements, and program audits/evaluations and performance testing to achieve stated objectives.
- Produce readiness assessments and decision‑support products; establish and maintain consistent readiness metrics and reporting; integrate data from multiple authoritative and legacy sources to deliver actionable analytics and dashboards.
- Apply advanced analytics and AI/ML techniques (forecasting, anomaly detection, natural language processing of maintenance narratives) to identify readiness drivers and constraints, improve predictive analytics, and inform trade‑space decisions that balance near‑term readiness with long‑term capability objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems management, mathematics, physics, operations research, statistics, or engineering from an accredited college or university, or equivalent specialized experience; six years of additional related work experience acceptable.
- Fifteen years of related experience, of which at least six years must be direct experience in the following concentration area:
People (CVN & TMS) – supporting the generation of people readiness for CVNs & TMSs, with working knowledge of the training and provider processes that generate people readiness. - Prior military experience as a Commissioned Officer and/or senior‑level DoW government experience (GS14‑15, O5‑O6) may be considered favorably.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
