Job Description
- Master's level qualification from a nationally recognised/certified university in a related discipline (systems engineering, international business management) and 10 years of post‑related experience comprising:
- Customer Relationship Management and Partnership Development (minimum 3 years)
- Managing acquisition planning or its applications in a military or defence organisation
- Lead role in programme/project management in acquisitions and delivery of capabilities (minimum 5 years)
- Proven experience operating with and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Proven knowledge and experience of NATO enterprise and multinational military capability development.
- International exposure and leadership experience.
- NATO's official languages are English and French. The work of this post is mainly conducted in English, therefore fluency in that language is essential and working knowledge of French is desirable.
- Initial three‑year contract with competitive monthly tax‑free salary (subject to Article 19 of the Ottawa agreement on exemption of Taxation)
- Additional benefits for expatriate staff including expatriation and education allowances (where applicable) and additional home leave
- Generous annual leave of 6 weeks plus official holidays

- Basic monthly salary: USD 14,453.57, tax free – before insurance and pension contributions.
- Definite tenure: initial duration of the assignment will be for 3 years. The contract may be renewed, but the total duration will not exceed 9 years.
Applicants currently holding a military or administration post must decide, in accordance with their national authorities' regulations, whether to retire or resign from their post, or apply for special leave from their national authorities.
