Position: Q004: NSPA Executive Liaison Officer (ACT)

Job Description

  • Master's level qualification from a nationally recognised/certified university in a related discipline (systems engineering, international business management) and 10 years of post‑related experience comprising:
    • Customer Relationship Management and Partnership Development (minimum 3 years)
    • Managing acquisition planning or its applications in a military or defence organisation
    • Lead role in programme/project management in acquisitions and delivery of capabilities (minimum 5 years)
  • Proven experience operating with and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Proven knowledge and experience of NATO enterprise and multinational military capability development.
  • International exposure and leadership experience.
  • NATO's official languages are English and French. The work of this post is mainly conducted in English, therefore fluency in that language is essential and working knowledge of French is desirable.

Post Details
  • Basic monthly salary: USD 14,453.57, tax free – before insurance and pension contributions.
  • Definite tenure: initial duration of the assignment will be for 3 years. The contract may be renewed, but the total duration will not exceed 9 years.
Employment Status Requirements for Current Military or Administration Post Holders

Applicants currently holding a military or administration post must decide, in accordance with their national authorities' regulations, whether to retire or resign from their post, or apply for special leave from their national authorities. If invited to a preliminary interview, they will be asked to indicate their preference at that time.
