Role OverviewPrecise Systems is hiring an Analyst, Senior to support a U.S. Navy customer. The analyst will work in a data‑driven operating model, employing advanced analytics and AI/ML techniques to produce readiness assessments, decision‑support products, and dashboards that inform trade‑space decisions and balance near‑term readiness with long‑term modernization goals.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic plans, including solutions, recommendations, and outcomes across multiple complex tasks and organizations.
- Define problems, analyze data, and develop strategies to achieve assigned objectives; manage preparation of analyses, evaluations, and implementation recommendations.
- Evaluate existing business goals, team functionality, and cross‑discipline cooperation; recommend improvements to internal performance, shorten throughput time, and reduce costs while increasing quality.
- Implement improved systems, procedures, and organizational changes based on data analysis.
- Employ analysis techniques such as work breakdown structures, activity‑based costing, process and productivity improvement measurements, program audits, evaluations, and performance testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems management, mathematics, physics, operations research, statistics, engineering, or equivalent specialized experience; or six years of additional related work experience.
- Fifteen years of related experience, with at least six years of direct experience in the People (CVN & TMS) concentration area, supporting the generation of people readiness for CVNs & TMSs and understanding training and provider processes.
- Prior military experience as a Commissioned Officer and/or senior level DoW government experience (GS‑14/15, O5‑O6) may be considered favorably.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer‑related requirements.
