We're a busy, dynamic family navigating the joys and challenges of a renovation while juggling work and caregiving responsibilities. Our home is in the midst of a transformation, and with two teenage kids, a beloved dog, and two sets of aging parents requiring extra care, life is anything but dull! We work hard to maintain a warm, organized home where everyone can feel comfortable and at ease, but we could use some extra hands to keep everything running smoothly.

While our schedule can be hectic, we cherish family time and aim to make the most of it, even when things feel a little chaotic. We're looking for someone who can help us stay on top of household management, meal prep, and general support, all while bringing a positive attitude and a great sense of humor to the mix.

We're seeking someone proactive, detail-oriented, and self-sufficient who can take initiative and make decisions with minimal direction. You should be someone who naturally anticipates needs and handles tasks with a calm, organized approach, whether it's meal prepping, helping with school pickups, or managing home projects. We love a positive, upbeat personality who can bring lightness to a busy household and who genuinely enjoys being around people.

If you're someone who can balance fun with professionalism, respect boundaries, and show up consistently, you'll fit right in. We need someone who's comfortable with occasional overnight stays when parents travel and who loves animals—particularly dogs! We're looking for someone who can pitch in wherever needed, bring structure to our days, and help us navigate this busy chapter of family life with a smile.

Key Responsibilities:
Household Management & Organization
  • Maintain household organization systems (closets, storage, pantry, toys)
  • Reset and tidy rooms daily; maintain overall neatness, ensure home is prepped for cleaning services
  • Conduct seasonal swaps (clothing, décor, bedding, etc.)
  • Prepare for family events, and holidays
  • Prepare and coordinate donation drop offs and pick ups
  • Support packing/unpacking for travel or seasonal transitions (for kids)
  • Supervise or coordinate with service providers/vendors (e.g., handymen, cleaners, landscapers)
  • Load/unload dishwasher, wipe surfaces, vacuum high traffic areas
  • Maintain indoor plants
Meal Support
  • Plan and prep healthy meals/snacks for adults and/or kids 3-4 nights a week; simple breakfast prep
  • Shop for groceries and meal-related items
  • Follow dietary needs and family preferences (protein forward, healthy)
  • Clean kitchen post-prep and manage kitchen tidiness
Family Support
  • Assist with school/activity pick-ups or drop-offs
  • Light supervision and occasional support for teens
  • Occasional overnight stays when parents are out of town
  • Help with child-related laundry or errands
Inventory Management & Errands
  • Track and restock pantry, fridge, toiletries, household supplies
  • Create and manage running household supply lists
  • Coordinate and manage household orders (Amazon, Costco, Target, etc.)
  • Run errands: grocery shopping, returns, dry cleaning, gift shopping
Laundry & Linen Care
  • Occasionally wash, dry, fold, and organize (put away) family laundry (e.g., clothing, bedding, towels)
  • Iron, steam, and prepare outfits as needed
  • Keep laundry areas tidy and well-stocked with supplies
Pet Care
  • Feed and walk dog
  • Keep pet area clean, washing bowls
  • Keep pet supplies stocked and organized
  • Occasional overnight dog-sitting
Vehicle Management
  • Schedule and oversee maintenance, oil changes, and inspections
  • Ensure vehicles are fueled, cleaned, and organized
Vendor & Property Oversight
  • Schedule and supervise service providers (cleaners, contractors, landscapers)
  • Research and coordinate repairs, maintenance, and quotes
  • Manage routine upkeep
  • Oversee outdoor spaces and seasonal maintenance needs
  • Serve as primary contact for vendors or guests
Deep Cleaning & Special Projects
  • Tackle occasional deep cleans (fridge, oven, baseboards, etc.)
  • Maintain and refresh specific zones (entryways, garage, mudroom)
  • Clean humidifiers, washing machines, and air purifiers monthly
  • Organize special projects: seasonal decorations, gear rotation, mementos
Administrative & Personal Assistant Support
  • Assist with coordination of events, appointments, and guest prep
