Responsibilities
- Lead and manage bridge and heavy civil construction projects from pre‑construction through closeout
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost control procedures
- Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure efficient communication and execution
- Oversee contract administration and change order management
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
- Provide leadership and direction to field personnel and subcontractors
- Work closely with DOT and public agency stakeholders to maintain project alignment and quality
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum 5‑10+ years of experience in heavy civil and bridge project management
- Proven track record delivering VDOT or DOT‑related infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts (VDOT specs preferred), scheduling software (Primavera P6 or MS Project), and cost tracking tools
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
