Overview
RQ Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to join our Field Operations team for work in Norfolk, Virginia on an active military base.
Responsibilities- Support construction projects throughout the project lifecycle from preconstruction planning through project closeout
- Assist with project coordination, scheduling, documentation, communication, budgeting, and project execution
- Collaborate with Project Manager on large-scale projects or independently manage smaller projects as appropriate
- Relocation to active project sites to support on-site project management activities
Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 annually

- Bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field required; equivalent combinations may be considered
- Minimum of one year of experience in a Project Engineer position required
- Four or more years of experience in construction, project management, or related industry preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and internet-based applications
- Experience with construction management software such as Primavera P3/P6, Viewpoint, BIM, or Revit preferred
- CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30 certifications required; company-sponsored training may be available
- LEED Green Associate and Quality Control Manager (QCM) certifications are a plus
