Duties
Help
You will serve as an Architect and be responsible for procuring, coordinating and managing the design and construction related services provided by Architectural/Engineering firms.
Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include:
- Manages project teams and schedules to ensure multiphase projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Provides technical advices, resolve issues and works with others to meet project requirements.
- Leads design teams manages engineering works and ensures projects are effective and efficient.
- Manages contract activities reviews proposals and overseas contractor performance.
Decisions on requests for RA are made on a case-by-case basis. - Must maintain Contracting Officer Representative (COR) certification
- This position may require occasional overtime work.

Basic Requirements:
This position has a positive Education Requirement in addition to at least one year of Specialized Experience or substitution of education for experience or combination (if applicable) in order to be found minimally qualified.
