SES Constructors, LLC, a subsidiary of Bristol Bay Construction Holdings, is growing! We are seeking a Laborer to play a crucial role in a safe and efficient construction site.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Ensure that work areas are clean, safe, and ready for construction activities by removing debris, hazards, and obstacles.
  • Handle tools, raw materials, and equipment.
  • Load and unload items as needed for construction tasks.
  • Dig, compact earth, and backfill holes by performing manual labor such as digging trenches, filling pits, and back filling excavated areas.
  • Operate off‑road construction vehicles.
  • Follow safety protocols while using equipment.
  • Take direction from supervisors and follow construction plans.
  • Assist heavy equipment operators and other skilled workers.
  • Assist in creating a positive and safe work environment.
  • Complete assigned training promptly.
  • Be coachable and learn from team members.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Willingness to learn from more experienced crew to become more proficient and knowledgeable.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license (a plus).
  • Ability to finish tasks safely, accurately, and promptly.
  • Knowledge of standard hand and power tools and how to use them safely and correctly.
  • Basic construction experience.
  • Problem‑solving ability.
  • Basic carpentry skills.
  • Ability to relay and receive information from field management needed for the current project/task.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Good attitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to stay on task efficiently, safely, and flexibly.
Additional Requirements

As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre‑employment drug screening (post‑accepted offer) and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.

Physical Requirements

Employees must maintain a constant state of mental alertness and situational awareness. The job may require bending, stooping, sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged periods. You may occasionally need to reach with hands and arms and lift, handle, or move objects weighing up to 75 pounds, with frequent opportunity to move about and work outside the office environment. Exposure to extreme heat, cold, wind, rain, or other inclement weather, walking over rough and uneven surfaces, routine lifting of up to 35 pounds, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, steel‑toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection are expected.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust vision.

Working Environment

The job is performed outdoors, requiring walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons. Exposure to heat, cold, wildlife, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise may occur.
