Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate all phases of construction activities from initiation through project completion.
  • Plan, schedule, and conduct regular coordination meetings with project stakeholders to ensure alignment on timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
  • Interpret and apply project blueprints, specifications, and contractual requirements to guide field operations.
  • Implement and enforce site-specific safety plans, ensuring full compliance with OSHA and federal safety standards.
  • Supervise and direct field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to achieve project milestones with high-quality workmanship.
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain construction schedules; proactively identify risks and implement solutions to prevent delays.
  • Manage procurement by ordering materials and coordinating inspections throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Prepare and manage project closeout activities, including punch lists and final inspections.
  • Ensure all site personnel adhere to established safety protocols and immediately address any hazards.
  • Coordinate safety audits and inspections in collaboration with corporate safety teams; support quality control initiatives.
  • Maintain an organized, efficient, and compliant job site environment.
  • Communicate effectively through written and verbal channels, fostering collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Coordinate and lead final inspections with government agencies and engineering representatives.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of experience supervising commercial and federal construction projects
  • OSHA 30 certification (OSHA 40 preferred where applicable)
  • CPR/First Aid certification required
  • CQC (Construction Quality Control) certification preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred
  • Working knowledge of Army Corps of Engineers Safety Manual EM 385-1-1
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Relevant field experience in government or commercial construction
