Overview

Insight Global is seeking a Construction Superintendent to support a client by leading job site operations from start to finish. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all field activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in alignment with quality expectations. They will work closely with Project Managers and subcontractors to coordinate schedules, manage resources, and resolve any issues that arise on-site.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily field operations and supervise laborers, carpenters, and subcontractors
  • Coordinate project schedules, sequencing, and subcontractor timelines
  • Monitor project progress to ensure adherence to budget, timeline, and quality standards
  • Maintain daily reports documenting site activity, progress, and issues
  • Support material procurement and ensure timely delivery to the job site
  • Perform hands-on support when needed to keep projects moving
  • Conduct safety meetings and ensure compliance with site safety expectations
  • Communicate with Project Managers, clients, and subcontractors on progress and updates
  • Assist with problem resolution, jobsite coordination, and operational challenges
  • Track labor hours and maintain workforce efficiency
Compensation

$95,000 to $125,000 per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of total construction experience (field-based)
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience on active job sites
  • Experience managing subcontractors, scheduling, and day-to-day field operations
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
  • Experience with general construction practices (carpentry, estimating, surveying)
  • Valid driver’s license; HVAC/Industrial background preferred
  • Exposure to budget tracking and cost control
  • Familiarity with material procurement and vendor coordination
  • CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Experience working directly with owners, contracting officers, or clients
