Senior Project Engineer
RQ is currently hiring a Senior Project Engineer to support Field Operations projects in Norfolk, Virginia. Project Engineers play an important role throughout every phase of construction, from preconstruction planning and design coordination through final project completion. Daily responsibilities may include assisting with project documentation, maintaining schedules, coordinating communication between teams, monitoring project progress, and supporting overall project execution. Depending on project size and individual experience, candidates may also assume expanded project management responsibilities.
This position works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Quality Control personnel, and Site Safety teams to help ensure successful project delivery. This opportunity is ideal for professionals interested in growing a long-term career within the Design-Build construction industry while contributing to projects that directly support U.S. military operations.

Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary range of $85,000-$100,000, depending on qualifications and experience

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline required; equivalent combinations of field experience and training may also be considered
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and general internet applications required
- Familiarity with industry software such as Primavera P3/P6, Viewpoint, BIM, and Revit preferred
- CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour certifications required (training available if needed)
- LEED Green Associate credential is a plus
- QCM certification is a plus
