Position: Full-Time Customer Service Agent

Full‑Time Customer Service Agent

At Ruby, we don't just answer phones. We build connections with callers to help businesses thrive! We are looking for full-time Customer Service Agents to act as Virtual Receptionists to be the friendly, professional voice our customers depend on. You'll manage a high volume of incoming calls and chats, skillfully navigating between two monitors to provide a seamless experience for every caller.

Whether you are greeting a new lead or helping a frustrated caller, your calm, professional demeanor, and attention to detail will be the keys to your success. This position is ideal for anyone who thrives under pressure and excels in a fast‑paced environment.

To succeed in this role, you should possess a typing speed of at least 40 WPM, be proficient in Office 365, and have the ability to multitask effectively. We are seeking professional, self‑motivated candidates who come with a warm demeanor and strong writing skills, with the ability to assist upset callers confidently when needed. Since our customers count on us 24/7/365, reliable and consistent attendance is a must, along with the ability to work holidays and weekends.

If you have at least one year in a similar inbound call‑center, administrative, and/or customer service role, we encourage you to apply! Being bilingual in Spanish and English is also a plus.

Pay and Benefits:
  • Competitive pay:
    Earn a premium rate of $21/hour with perfect attendance and punctuality. Base rate is $19/hour.
  • Benefits:
    Full medical, dental, and vision insurance plus a life insurance policy and legal assistance. Additionally, Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), 401(k) with matching, and 2 weeks paid off in your first year.

As a note, this is an in‑office position at our Chesapeake or Virginia Beach location. All in‑person interviews will take place our Chesapeake office.
