We’re Excel Fitness, a Planet Fitness franchise group based out of Austin, TX with 80+ clubs and growing! Since 2016, we have expanded from 16 locations in TX to over 80 locations across 6 states, including markets like Austin, Dallas, Raleigh, Tulsa, and NW Arkansas. We are opening new clubs each year, providing opportunities to build a rewarding career. Many of our senior managers started at the front desk and advanced to roles with salaries starting at $42k as a GM, $60k as a Regional Manager (overseeing 5-10 locations), and over $100k as a Regional Director overseeing 10+ locations.

All team members begin at the front desk, where they are responsible for creating a positive member experience through excellent customer service and maintaining cleanliness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Provide exceptional customer service.

- Responsibilities include:

• Check members into the system.
• Conduct tours for prospective members and assist with new account sign-up.
• Update member accounts as needed.
• Respond promptly and professionally to member questions and concerns, escalating to management when necessary.
• Perform detailed cleaning in all areas of the facility.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and colleagues.
• A positive mental attitude is a plus!
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential.
• Diplomacy and appropriate behavior in all interactions.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Physical Demands

• Standing and walking continuously during shifts.
• Talking in person or on the phone frequently.
• Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Handling commercial cleaning products occasionally.
