We are looking for a dispatcher associate for the Service Department in Norfolk, VA. Candidate must be an excellent communicator with good people skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multi‑task between dispatching/scheduling and solving customer service issues. The right candidate will take direction, learn new tasks, be computer literate, and be a team player in a small but productive office.

Salary: $17 per hour plus experience.

Responsibilities
  • Manage incoming calls and provide exceptional customer service to clients and vendors.
  • Coordinate logistics and dispatch service techs efficiently using transportation management systems.
  • Analyze data to optimize routing and tech schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions through data entry.
  • Utilize GIS and GPS tools to enhance transportation planning and tech management.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication and operational efficiency.

Summary

As a Dispatcher representative, you will be integral to ensuring efficient logistics and exceptional customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Service Manager, your core skills in dispatching, communication, and analysis will be essential in managing Service Repairs and addressing customer inquiries. Utilizing transportation management systems and GPS, you will optimize routes and improve service. Your experience with data entry and multi‑line phone systems will enhance our operational efficiency.
