The Client Service Associate role supports clients and advisors by executing routine administrative tasks and handling client requests.
Responsibilities- Assist with account openings, processing paperwork, and ensuring CRM data accuracy.
- Schedule and prepare for client meetings, including gathering forms and financial reports.
- Attend meetings, take notes, and provide summaries to clients and the advisory team.
- Process account openings, funding, deposit electronic checks, and money movements with custodians.
- Handle cash transfers, wires, and trade-related reporting as needed.
- Maintain ongoing quality control of CRM data.
- Organize advisory team meetings and events.
- Receive client calls and resolve questions or issues.
- Execute client appreciation and retention activities.
- Develop knowledge of investment accounts, products, and required transactional forms.
- Coordinate across departments to ensure timely completion of tasks and follow‑ups.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field (preferred).
- At least 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry (preferred).
- Strong communication, organizational, and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team‑based, collaborative environment.
- Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Adherence to all compliance policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated alignment with Cerity Partners culture.
