Patient Coordinator

Konikoff Family Dentistry – Granby in Norfolk, VA is looking for a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Patient Coordinator to join our team full-time!

As one of the first faces our patients see, our Patient Coordinator plays an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience from the moment a patient walks through the door. We’re looking for someone who is professional, dependable, enjoys working with people, and thrives in a busy dental office.

Greet and welcome patients with a friendly, professional attitude

Manage patient check-in and check-out

Schedule and confirm patient appointments

Answer incoming calls and assist patients with questions

Verify and update patient information

Assist with insurance verification and benefit information

Collect payments and discuss patient balances as needed

Maintain accurate patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance

Communicate effectively with doctors, hygienists, assistants, and other team members

Help keep the daily schedule organized and running smoothly

Provide an exceptional patient experience from start to finish

Previous dental or medical front office experience preferred

Strong customer service and communication skills

Friendly, professional, and patient-focused

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Organized with excellent attention to detail

Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities

Experience with dental practice management software is a plus

Dependable, punctual, and a team player
