We are seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a freestanding behavioral health hospital in Norfolk, Virginia. This opportunity offers flexible weekend call coverage and independent contractor compensation models

Acute Inpatient, Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Residential Treatment - Support / Care Team:
Multidisciplinary clinical and administrative team
- Provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment to child and adolescent inpatient and residential patients
- Deliver weekend call coverage and clinical oversight
- Collaborate with physicians, APPs, therapists, nursing staff, and support personnel
- Manage day-to-day clinical responsibilities, including treatment planning and medication management
- Document care accurately

Structured clinical setting with strong team collaboration
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- Active or eligible Virginia medical license
- Minimum five to six years of psychiatry training and experience
- Meets credentialing requirements for participating physicians
- Opportunity to practice in a highly structured pediatric behavioral health setting
- Engagement in a teaching-focused, holistic treatment model
- Collaboration with experienced child and adolescent behavioral health professionals
