Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM) is recruiting an Aircraft Mechanic Instructor to deliver FAA-aligned curriculum and mentor students in aircraft maintenance.
Compensation: $33.65 per hour and above, based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
Schedule options:
- Option 1 (Days):
Monday – Friday 7am – 3:30pm - Option 2 (Nights):
Monday – Thursday 3pm – 11:30pm and Friday 9am – 4pm

About the RoleWe seek an experienced Aircraft Mechanic Instructor to prepare students for successful careers in aircraft maintenance by delivering high-quality instruction, demonstrating hands‑on techniques, and fostering an engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Teach the FAA-aligned curriculum in a supportive classroom environment that encourages participation and skill development.
- Support program leadership in the development and revision of high‑quality course materials.
- Record accurate attendance, grades, evaluations, and related documentation.
- Notify leadership of any emerging concerns affecting student performance or classroom operations.
- Participate in classroom observations and evaluations.
- Complete additional tasks and projects assigned by the supervisor.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Associate degree in a related field (preferred).
- At least three (3) years of hands‑on aircraft maintenance experience.
- Strong command of aircraft maintenance systems and procedures with a demonstrated commitment to continuous learning.
- Experience with and openness to learning Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,, SharePoint, Teams).
- Flexibility to work outside scheduled hours as needed.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic Certificate.
