Job Description:

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Old Dominion University is hiring two full-time Lecturers to begin July 25, 2025. One of these positions should be capable of teaching courses that support the Forensic Chemistry major. This is a permanent non-tenure-track instructional position at the undergraduate level with an annual renewable contract.

* A Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry, forensic chemistry, or closely related field from an accredited institution

* Experience managing large course sections

* Experience teaching and managing courses with formal laboratory components

* Ability to contribute to teaching in support of our new forensic chemistry degree plan
