Job Duties- Teach on-campus undergraduate courses in African American History
- Engage in exemplary face-to-face instruction and use the university’s learning management system (Blackboard)
- Collegially engage with students, staff, and other faculty members
- Meet university deadlines for submitting grades and other reports
- Must possess a Master’s or Ph.D. degree in History with a concentration in African American History
- Demonstrate a strong potential to effectively teach African American History
- Demonstrate potential to effectively use a learning management system (Blackboard Ultra or similar)
- Demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, personal integrity, and a demonstrated commitment to diversity
- Experience teaching African American History in higher education
- Possess a Ph.D. in History with extensive graduate coursework in African American History
