Job Duties- Teach one or more undergraduate courses in American Government with emphasis on civic engagement.
- Develop syllabi, assignments, and assessments consistent with departmental learning outcomes.
- Maintain effective student engagement in both classroom and online settings (when applicable).
- Provide timely feedback and academic support to students.
- Collaborate with department faculty to enhance curriculum and civic education initiatives.
- Uphold the university’s commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and community engagement.
- Evidence of successful teaching at the college or university level.
- Ability to work with community stakeholders (e.g., advocacy groups, elected and government officials, non-profits, businesses, schools, and NGOs) to promote civic engagement.
