The City of Norfolk is seeking a Recreation Activity Instructor for its Department of Recreation, Community Wellness/Recreation Programs. This role involves teaching various levels of dance classes, including ballet, modern, jazz, and ballroom while organizing and developing classes in at least two different styles.
The position offers a flexible schedule up to 20 hours per week and requires a High School diploma or GED with at least 1 year of instructional experience in dance. A valid driver’s license and First Aid/CPR certification are preferred.
