Assistant Director of Transfer Admissions and Recruitment

Old Dominion University is hiring an Assistant Director of Transfer Admissions and Recruitment. The role involves implementing the undergraduate admissions strategic plan, representing the university at recruitment events, supporting staff onboarding and training, and supervising undergraduate admissions staff.

• Support the implementation of the undergraduate admissions strategic plan to identify, recruit, admit, and enroll students.
• Represent the university at transfer college fairs, community colleges, and recruitment events.
• Assist in staff onboarding, training, and planning and reporting of recruitment and yield activities.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate undergraduate admissions staff.
• Required skills include excellent communication, public speaking, multitasking, data analysis, recruitment, coaching, event planning, and CRM system experience.
• Must have a Master's degree in a related field or equivalent education and experience.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to lift at least 50 lbs required.
• Preferred experience in transfer recruitment and supervisory roles in higher education admissions.
• Position requires some nights and weekends.
• Criminal background check required for the final candidate.
